Happy Hump Day!

About every three weeks or so I get a really really great feeling about my life and where it's headed-- today is one of those days. It kind of feels like I'm wanting the days to go by fast so I can get on with my life, but at the same time I'm very happy in the moment and am so very excited about how things are progressing.

Training--

It's going well... I skipped a workout or two when mom and dad were here-- well, one actually, but I probably would've ran on one of my rest days had they not been here. Like my previous post said, I went three miles on Saturday morning. It was our first Team Long Run and it was in the Presidio which was awesome-- right by the Golden Gate Bridge. I got a ride there from a really nice girl, Lotika, and I believe I am going to start riding with her every Saturday. Each Saturday they give a Spirit Award that I happened to win on the first day! It's a purple SNUGGIE! But I don't get to keep it... I have to decorate it with a patch that describes me somehow so I think I am going to cut the Southeast Missouri Redhawks logo off my hat and use it-- since I got the hat for free and I really don't have anything else to use.

Mom and Dad went with me to Haight St. to look for a patch to use on Monday after work, but we didn't find anything. Although Dad enjoyed looking at all the crazy, crued shirts and stuff. Mom and Dad headed back on Monday and I believe they will never be flying Southwest again-- apparently it wasn't the greatest experience. It was a really great trip and I think they had fun and am SO glad they got to see where and how I'm living.

I got a new roommate, Andrea, who is a lawyer who has a dream job at a Water Conservation Law Firm here in SF where she starts in two weeks. She is really nice and I have invited her to go to Hannah's birthday party in the park with me this Saturday after I got on my team run. That way we can hang out and she can meet some other people and I can, too.

Work is going really great-- I have one project that is progressing really well and I"m really excited of the chance that it could lead to a more stable and better job-- which is hard to believe I could get a job I like more than the one I'm doing! There is another project that I wish was progressing a little better, but hopefully it starts shaping up here soon.

I talked to Kristin Sopko tonight and she is going to be in LA next weekend so I'm looking in to going down there... was going to fly bc I thought flights were cheaper than what they are, but it only costs me like a hundred bucks to rent a car for the weekend with Reggie's discount so I may do that and take that beautiful scenic drive down and up the coast!! We will see after I talk with her more tomorrow.

Anyway, I'm going to bed now. Maybe something BIG will happen tomorrow! I have a Coached Run at Kezar Stadium again, which is great. Actually a Dirty Harry movie was filmed there and I belive the 49ers and Oakland Raiders used to play there... I could definitely be wrong though! ha.

Good night, all!

Will Touch on the BIG NEWS of Prop 8 being overturned tomorrow. Holla!!!
