Hellllllllllo. Tomorrow is Wednesday, but it should be Friday already! Gosh! So I decided not to go to LA this weekend since I will be home in a few weeks and need to save for that and hopefully will get to see Kristin then. I'm getting really excited to be home, but know that weekend is going to go by so ridiculously fast! Especially since I have pretty much every minute planned of it.
I'm making sure I get to see all of my family on this visit by having a bbq at my parents' place on Saturday during the day. I filled out invitations to all my family and am sending them out tomorrow-- that way I can see everyone for a couple of hours and then be able to go with the flow and enjoy the Labor Day festivities at the Desloge LDay Picnic and then out on the boat at "Party Cove" on Lac Capri! Soooo excited to get to go out on the boat. I haven't been in a swimsuit ALL SUMMER! That's crazy.... I mean, it's probably a good thing for my self esteem, but I'm hoping I'm in better shape than I am now once that time comes. Which, I have been running more and more with this training-- and really, even if I don't look any different, I feel different when I've been working out so as long as I feel good, I'm happy. :-)
So far with trainging I am running a steady 2.25-3 miles... Which is good... getting used to that distance and then will up it each week or two(I'm assuming that is the plan-- will see what the coaches have planned.) I didn't have to give up the snuggie this week, but will bring it to our next Long Run on Saturday, which is supposed to be the prettiest one yet-- on the beach. I think it sounds like the hardest one yet!!! But we are having a brunch thing afterwards so that'll be nice to hang out with the team some more. I will take my NEW camera with me! I love it-- my grandma took my old one back and bought this new one that is so so awesome! I'm a very lucky lady.
Friday, I saw Inception with Jan and Dave and it was awesome!! I hate when ppl set up your expectations so I went in thinking a lot of ppl liked it but that doesn't mean I will... but I did! It's just not like anything out there I don't think... of course I haven't seen every sci fi movie ever made so who knows. Saturday I went to Hannah and her sister's Birthday Party in Golden Gate Park and then we went out that night on Polk street and had a lot of fun! Tried to post pics, but have no patients. I will start taking pics of trainings and posting them with updates as to how my training is going!
