I think it would be fitting to make a post on my last day in the state of California. I'm leaving San Francisco tonight on a red eye flight. These past two weeks have flown by with saying my last good byes and getting prepared to move to Missouri and then up to Dubuque.
Amanda is picking me up from the airport tomorrow and then we'll go to Hub's tomorrow night to dance the night away to Boogie Chyld. Then it's family time on Thursday and Friday and the Turkey Trot Saturday morning before another crazy night with a rowdy group of girls on Saturday night. Then Sunday we will pack all my stuff up and I'll be off for Dubuque on Monday with Mom, Dad, Reg and Chee following with all my stuff on that Friday.
It's been such a great year here and I can't even begin to know all the changes in myself and my life. Only years will come, but the experience I will take with me will be forever cherished. I hope to visit this place often-- I really don't think I realize how much I'll miss this place. But for now, I'm so so happy to be coming home. :-)
I'm so proud of you!!! Have a great Thanksgiving! I hope you continue blogging in Iowa! XOXOXO!
