Nah Nah Napa Sheep.....

It's been a few weeks-- Work is still steady: had a little set back, but things are starting to move forward with a few different projects so I'll be busy again in no time. I'm just coming off of an amazing weekend-- with my lovely Amanda! She got here on Friday and after we got ready in my office bathroom, we made our way to Asia SF-- a tranny bar. The great thing is, I didn't tell Amanda where we were going and she had no idea even after we had a whole conversation with one of the "ladies." It was so much fun though-- they come out and dance on the bar for one show an hour and we had the best seats in the house! After that we checked out a cool bar/restaurant in Berkeley and then walked home and she saw my house for the first time.

On Saturday, Amanda took a run around Berkeley while I slept until I had to wake up to go rent our call for the weekend at 9. We got our car and showered before heading up to the beautiful wine country in Napa where we got bucked by some sheep at a castle winery and had a great time-- even though you can only do wine tasting there-- you can't just buy a bottle and pop it open to have while eating your snacks. So we had to take our snacks back to our hotel room! haha... That night we went to a dive bar where what happened at the dive bar, stays at the dive bar!-- we learned a cool bar game with dice though from some nice guys who own a winery in Napa.

Sunday I wasn't feeling so hot so we came back to Berkeley before we went to the Golden Gate Bridge and Saulsalito for dinner. We took a really awesome picture at the GG Bridge on her disposable camera and we're reallllly hoping it turns out! On Monday, Amanda rode around all day on a tour bus and probably saw more of the city than I have. At night we went to Pier 39 and did the mirror maze before we had dinner. It was so great to have her here-- sad she had to go back.

Yesterday, I ran for the first time in a while and it felt so good! The weather was amazing for it. I stopped drinking soda, going to starbucks, and eating red meat to help me get motivated to work out and get in shape for the June weddings-- I'm running out of time!

Mom will be here in three weeks and I'll start planning out everything we're gonna do here soon-- Alcatraz tour, Red woods, and definitely a bus tour! Then Jennifer and Beth are coming out three weeks after that and we're going to the Cards Giants game. Very excited for the next few months!

Now I'm getting ready to be off work and go celebrate St. Pat's Day with my coworkers at a block party. Still having fun and still missing all of you back home!
