Embracing Change

I'm ready for this week to be over.

The downfall of having such an amazing weekend this past weekend when Jennifer and Beth came to visit is going back to work to a million projects and to people who don't really know me at all. I'm moving to the city this weekend so I'm hoping that's when things will start to change for me. I need to meet people who are like me... who share the same sense of humor... who like to do the same things... who are positive people who actually want to know what I have to say.

It'll be hard to leave the house in Berkeley because Marilee and Elizabeth have been so wonderful to me, but I think I need this move in more ways than one. In case you don't know-- I found a place literally ten minutes from my work and one street over from Jan and Dave. The rent is quite a bit more, but it is worth it with the commute as well as being right in the middle of the city.

I can't begin to describe the weekend I had with Jen and Beth. It just makes me sad that I don't have any more visitors coming any time soon. I know I will be home in a little over a month, but it's going to seem like eternity.

Just ready for this day and week to be over... I'm so ready to be back in Missouri for a while.
