Ready to be a City Girl...

Suuuuuuup. I cannot believe I have gone four months living in this house and just realized a week ago that we get HBO! Helllloooooo, movies I've never seen but always wanted to! Yes, I am spending my Friday night with movies... we've been having an ongoing fling lately and I like it.

This blog is to catch you up on the goingons and the ons that are going...

Had a blast when Mom was here-- on Sunday we went on a double decker tour bus, but it was raining so we just stayed on the whole time-- which turned out to be okay. Then we met Jan and Dave for lunch in North Beach and were soaked by the rain afterwards so we skipped Alcatraz and came back to Berkeley. I was sad to see her go, but will be seeing her soon.

A week or two ago I found out my job has been extended to December. That means I have begun to look into moving to the city. I am going to check out a few places this weekend and hopefully find a place that will let me bring my dog out here with me. I miss her sooo much and I can't stop thinking about how awesome it would be to live closer to work, experience the city life and have my puppy dog out here with me. Hopefully one of the places this weekend turns out perfect for me. I will be sad to leave this house and Marilee because she has been just amazing, but I think I'm meant to live in the city and really feel like I'll be happier.

We went to the Giants game on Monday for Chris' birthday-- it was so much fun. Nothing compared to the fun we will have next Friday when Jen and Beth are out here with me and we go to the Cards game! It's going to be the best weekend yet.
