Accomplishments

I. Did. It.

I moved to a place where I did not know a single person.

I got a job with one of the biggest companies in the world.

I learned how to ski.

I became a hard working professional.

I decided I might like some form of techno music.

I can also eat guacamole without thinking of "the mole" on Goldmember.

I lived in an environment where everyone is accepted for who they are and want to be.

I went to the movies by myself... all the time.

I put myself out there in hopes of making friends... I succeeded a few times.

I trained for and completed a half marathon.

I worked with people from all backgrounds-- truly learned what networking is.

I experienced Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Beach, Napa, Lake Tahoe, Muir Woods, the Bay Bridge, Sacramento, Berkeley, Oakland, the Financial District, the Castro, Bay 2 Breakers, Pride Fest, Free Concerts, Parties in the Park, Happy Hours, Giants Games at AT&T Park, Santa Cruz Boardwalk, and so much more.

I learned how to get a better job.

I'm starting over, but this time it's different.

I'm not running away from misery or sadness or depression-- I'm going to my future with more knowledge and experience than I came here with.

My life is just going to continue to get better. I can't believe it.

I can't believe I have such a great life.
