Soulmates

I'm 24. I have lived in 5 cities my whole life and have had 3 surgeries. I have never seen a therapist, but have seen many allergists, neurologists and family physicians. I have dropped too many cell phones to count in the toilet, and dropped two off a tractor while cutting my grandma's grass. I used to buy single cd's, but haven't downloaded a single new song since my sophomore year in college! It's called youtube and pandora. I have watched Sara Bareilles' "King of Anything" video on youtube ten times today.

I twirl my hair nonstop, but I find it helps with this chronic tic that I have sported since fifth or sixth grade. I'm obsessed with palindromes and I never know what to be for Halloween so I swear to start thinking for what I want to be the next year-- but that never happens. I love karaoke, but 99.9% of the population wishes I didn't. My dog has a medical condition called Anal Sacs Disease-- my uncle got to experience a procedure today that helps with her symptoms. I now have a brother and sister and I've only hung out with them one weekend since they were married.

I have two best friends and they are very different-- even though they were friends before they even knew me. But I have six girls that I consider my soulmates, each in their own way. Brooke-- I can count on for anything. She is the sweetest girl and surprisingly witty at times. I think she is the only person in this world that could tolerate living with me for over a year and still not hate me. Emily-- a hot mess. but my hot mess. Seriously, 70% of my best times in my life were spent with this girl and I can't imagine what it will be like when we are both living in the same city again. She gets me better than anyone in the whole world. Alli-- she made my college years. She has been through so much, but she keeps moving on and keeps living and keeps it real. She is so loyal and I believe she has a lot to do with who I have become since I went away to college and after. Jessica-- Tits McGee. We can get lost in our own conversation for hours on end. Usually ending our conversation laughing so hard we can't breathe and having new imaginary friends in forms of lice and a cat-lover named Madge. She is who I would take with me the most boring place on earth... well, because when she's with me, I'm never bored. Amanda-- Veege Sauce. If I didn't already use hot mess, I would insert it here. But actually, this lady has grown up a lot lately, and I am so proud of who she is. I know she is always rooting for me no matter what and that support means more to me than she knows. Last but not least-- The Jean. Sure I used to think she was a bitch... but anyone who she let's really know her, will know she is everything anyone could ever want in a friend... and LOVA apparently. Seriously, there's no one else I would accept five page text messages from or enjoy a home cooked meal with. Not to mention her "blonde" moments will always make nights in playing games more memorable than going out on the town.

Those are my ladies. And I am continuously searching for others who even begin to compare-- I will be searching until I return home to rejoin my loves.
