Accepted

Life couldn't get any better right now. I accepted my offer today to be a GDF Enablement Manager with our Delivery Center in Dubuque, Iowa. That title may mean nothing to you, but it is a great opportunity for me! :-) I will be traveling with a one way ticket home the night of Tuesday, November 23rd, or should I say Wednesday since it is a red eye. I get in at 8:30a.m. on Wednesday if all goes well-- this is the same flight that went wrong last time so hopefully that is not the case this time. Even though I'm sure Chee wouldn't mind to be able to sleep in! I'll be getting down to Boogie Chyld that night with my loves and then hanging with my family for Thanksgiving! So So Happy! Then on Saturday, I am running in a 10K with Lisa which is awesome since I now I have something else to run for.

When I get to Dubuque, I've decided I'm going to get another personal trainer just to get me back in a lifting routine. Pretty excited about that, too. But what I'm most excited about is having my doggie with me! And being so close that I can come home if I want to. So I will be moving to Dubuque, Iowa then after Thanksgiving weekend. I will be working from Dbq for the month of December, but will still be doing the job I currently have. This is the best news ever since with my job now we get Christmas through New Years off with pay!

Anyway, I still have a few weeks left here in Cali and I'm going to enjoy them to the fullest. Starting tomorrow when we go out for Briana's birthday and watch the Giants game in the world series! It would be sooo amazing to be here when they win! Then it's Hallween this weekend-- I'm going to be Miss Piggy-- thanks to Jean's great costume idea a few years ago. Then I'm going to go on a trip with Jan and Dave in two weeks to Sonoma and then just try to do some more SF things before I leave. It's going to be a great rest of 2010 and then will be starting a brand new life in 2011!! :-)
